Thing #16 Wikis
Wikis are basically free website creation for the public. It's a tool that can be easily created and edited and allow certain users that freedom to do so. The examples that I searched through were libraries and school websites. The library wikis were extremely detailed and I found it easy to sift through the information. I also ran into a few teacher wikis that posed as their official website page. This is a great tool for education because it's free! And can be used for classroom use, such as posting homework, project, calendar, events, school updates, etc.
